1937

Further development of the screw pump into an extruder and formation of the business unit Extrusion Technology

1960ies

The extruders were further developed as "twin screw presses" with accessories.

1970ies

ZSE extruders were complemented by the new LSM 30.34 lab extruder.

1976

Founding of the American Extrusion Technology subsidiary, American Leistritz Extruder Corp., in Somerville/NJ (USA)

1992 - 1998

Establishment of sales branches in France, Great Britain and Singapore

1998

Market launch of the new ZSE HP (High Performance) generation of extruders with screw speeds of up to 1,200 RPM

2001

Leistritz AG becomes a holding company: founding of Leistritz Extrusionstechnik GmbH

Establishment of the sales branch in Italy

2004

Market launch of the ZSE MAXX extruder

2007

Market launch of maXXtorque, back then the highest specific torque density for co-rotating twin screw extruders in the world

2010

Founding of the Chinese subsidiary, Leistritz Machinery (Taicang) Co., Ltd.

Leistritz pushes forward with development into a system supplier

2013

Merging of the American subsidiaries of Leistritz AG into Leistritz Advanced Technology Corp. with extrusion, pumps, turbine blades and machine tools business units

2014

Milestone as a system supplier:
Leistritz plans and implements a complete extrusion line for the stabilization of raw polymer produced on a polymerization line in Kazakhstan
