Examples of films for technical applications
- Battery separator foils (BSF): BSFs are an important component of lithium-ion batteries. They prevent the electrodes from short-circuiting and ensure that the current only flows in one direction.
- Solar and monitor films: Solar and monitor films are used to increase the efficiency and protection of solar cells and monitors.
- PVB films: PVB films are used in safety glass to prevent glass breakage. These are used in windscreens, for example.
- BOPP-C films: BOPP-C films are used in capacitors. They are thin and tear-resistant and can help to improve the energy efficiency of capacitors.
